Shawn's practice is concentrated on a broad range of real property, construction, small business and probate/estate planning matters. He regularly represents buyers and sellers, brokers and agents, landlords, contractors, architects, engineers, trade subcontractors, owners, and suppliers in resolving disputes involving the development, purchase and sale, and construction on real property. Shawn also represents these parties in the legal business aspects of these industries by setting up corporations and LLCs, resolving partner disputes, and putting together operating agreements and bylaws. A natural tie in to real property law is probate and estate planning, which involves the planning and distribution of properties to loved ones and heirs.
